2Capture app icon

Two cameras,
one tap.

Record both your iPhone's cameras at the same time. The iPhone 17 Dual Capture experience, available now on every multi-cam iPhone.

Coming to the App Store See features

Built for shots you couldn't get before.

A single app, single shutter. Both cameras baked into one file you own.

Dual record

Front and back captured simultaneously, composited into one video. No post-production needed.

Drag, pinch, swap

The floating bubble is fully under your control — reposition it anywhere, scale it from tiny to large, tap to swap.

4K • HDR • 60fps

Quality controls in a clean top bar. Cycles only formats your phone actually supports in dual-cam mode.

Stereo sound

Captures stereo audio from the built-in mic array, in sync with both video streams.

Swipe to switch

Photo or video — same shutter, swipe sideways to change mode just like the stock Camera app.

Yours, always

Files save straight to your Photos library. No cloud, no account, no tracking. Just standard JPEG and MP4.

The whole UI is one screen.

No menus, no settings page. The thing you want to do is right there.

  • 1Open the app — both cameras are live.
  • 2Drag the bubble to reposition it.
  • 3Pinch to resize it. Tap to swap which camera is fullscreen.
  • 4Swipe sideways to flip between Photo and Video.
  • 5Tap the shutter. The composited result lands in Photos.

What we don't do.

2Capture has no servers, no analytics, no tracking, no account. The camera and microphone are used only while the app is open. The only file destination is your own Photos library — there is no upload, no sync, no cloud anywhere in the loop. This is intentional.
